I had heard about this German site and I bought a HP Pavillion g7 Laptop from them. The Laptop arrived but I was disappointed when I discovered that it had a german keypad in it. Has anyone had this experience, should they not have sent it as a qwerty when they were shipping to Ireland. Have I a case to argue with them or is this my cost to go and buy a qwerty keypad.

You bought a laptop from a German company, so obviously it will have a German keyboard unless other wise stated at the time of sale. You have no comeback on that.

You could return it under the cooling off period allowed for by European distance selling laws. You would have to cover the cost of return, and there may be conditions on it (such as the product be unused and re-sellable).

The terms and conditions of hardwareversand.de require that you have to cover the cost of return only, if the value of the order is below 40 EURO.
