    Hi Lads,

Iv been training myself in the gym the past two years and one of my favorite parts of the workout is using the punch bag. My old man used box until he was in his late twentys and I was just wondering am I too old to start boxing? I am 19. Should I have really started as a kid?

Just a general question, thanks in advance.

Well, Martin Rogan started boxing at age 27, Rocky Marciano started at age 23, Earnie Shavers at 22, Bernard Hopkins and Sergio Martinez at age 20....so I'd say no, it's not too late! :D

Started properly last year at 25, did a white collar event, loved it, plan on doing it again this year.

An event where people who have never boxed before train for about 8 weeks then fight in front of a crowd of family and friends.
It's a good way to get a bit of a feel for what boxing is like
