Qualifications for Nail Technician?

Hi all, I'm looking to start doing mobile manicures and pedicures, focusing on Shellac. I want to get some kind of qualification behind me, ideally that would lend itself to getting a job as a Nail Tecnician in a salon in the future. My options seem to be - Spend a fortune to get a Fetac Level 5 in either Manicure and Pedicure (about €800) or same in Nail Technician (about €1200), OR Spend a considerably smaller fortune to get an NVQ Manicure and Pedicure with carltoninstitute.ie which is around €400, OR go do a day course for Mani/Pedi for anywhere between €100-200 with no real qualification, just a nice certificate from whatever college.

Any beauticians/Nail Techs out there know how important it is to have the proper qualifications or does your experience and know-how count a lot more? Any help would be great. Thanks!
