    Just arrived in Brisbane. Would like to meet up with Irish. Where should I go?

    Irish Murphys beside the casino or O'Malleys on Queen Street mall are where I used to see a lot of Irish people floating about. Didn't really hang around with many Irish when I was there though.

    Couldn't help it...But surely you could of googled for Irish pubs, GAA clubs, Irish Clubs etc in the Brisbane area.

    You're bound ta find a paddy somewere there...:rolleyes:

    o'malleys on queen street mall
    the pig and whistle on eagle street
    tinbillys over near roma street station.
    irish queensland club on elizabeth st
    they were all the usual haunts for irish people while i stayed in that city on and off over 2 years

    forgot to add kitty o sheas on caxton st is another place to go meet up, i think it sponsors one of the brisbane gaa teams, a good place to get contacts
