I notice EI-EVL just arriving in Dublin from Seattle, a new delivery for Ryanair. Does anyone have any information about this new addition or some photos would be great :)

Was Tracking it earlier. An Irish Pilot was onboard, he was talking to shannon and dublin. I thought boeing delivered these? Cool job having to go to seattle to pick up a new 737-800:-)

Yeah I bet they fly first class with BA to position over and then get top notch catering onboard for the return flight. Or perhaps not. You be the judge.

Is this the last FR delivery from Boeing? I though they had about 15-20 still outstanding.

Looking at jethros.co.uk they have no info past EI-EVK. Which is odd as they usually include all current outstanding orders for UK/Irish airlines.

Ryanair doesn't do the priest blessing thing, do they? Would love to see a priest working on an airplane with that callsign. I keep thinking of Eric Idle in the Dudley Do-Right movie... "Eeeeevil... EEEEEVIL!!!!"

Ryanair crew go over and collect them. Pretty cool!

Does the 738 have the range to do this on a single flight?

Ryanair and the words first class do not really combine, do they?

Yes, as it's empty load wise aside from the crew and fuel.

Selcal not installed in most (none of the older 738s) so enjoy listening to unbroken static on HF all the ways across the Atlantic .... Pass

....and seats! I believe they fit them here. another saving measure.

Not much of a saving unless the seats are manufactured in Ireland!

There are a few passenger services using 737-800s to cross the Atlantic so an empty one must be able to make it over with seats installed?

No idea who makes FR's, but Vita Cortex make airline seats in Ireland (and no, Kinsale wasn't their only factory!)
