I fail to see the harm, besides the toilet paper everyone looked like they were having good craic, if the kids had of played that they would remember it for the rest of their lives all those fans here to cheer us on and the nice. The crowd looked like they were just out for the fun as well.

They are Lech Poznan supporters the most passionate supporters in Poland or Europe. They do this through all Age groups matches. Known as the Lech Cup

have a look at this 2mins in.

They are using flares on an enclosed area where the floor is covered with toilet paper... thats not quite right...

Don't see the harm with the toilet paper easily pushed too the side but the flares in doors??? A bit over the top buttttttttt saying all that id give A+ on the passion :p

Any Polish speakers here what are they chanting? Any f**k w**ker etc etc? What you get at most games from the parents who hope their kid is the next Rooney, Gerrard, Messi...

Setting aside the obvious safety concerns I think it's brilliant. 99.999% of lads that ever kicked a ball never got to play in front of that kind of support.

Take out the toilet paper and it's magic.

This is pure passion from Lech Poznan fans. This is where Man City and Celtic supporters got the idea to JUMP.

How refreshing is it going to be to see and hear that kind of support instead of that god awful racket we had to endure at the world cup? Can't wait :)

an under 8's not a ****oing under 18's! what are these sad bastards doing even attending these games, they obviously are relatives of the kids

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Not exactly safe, but to call them scum ?

It's also not exactly like they threw the flares into the paper.

Not what I would class as 'crowd trouble'.

I'd say they'd cause a riot on arriving to Swansea on a european match and feeling mislead

i don't agree with the flares just becuase of the amount of smoke in doors which cant be solved as easily as pushing a few rolls of toilet paper too the side.

Sibling rivalry getting out of hand.

The reason why flares were prohibited in euroe was not because of the smoke but because of the risk of fire... you do understand that? There is paper, wood, plastic etc... I have seen toilet paper catch fire easily back when I was working with firemen and it is not easy to control, it spreads very quickly although it is of easy combustion it is very light and tends to fly away... not something you want...

What you see here is very common in south america, happens on every game, actually, much more impressive than here, they are truly mad down there...

:pac: thats for the bolded part

So you know for sure the match was abandoned because of fire risk or because of the smoke in the hall?

Because its a guess from me but from watching the video the kids seemed to be doing their hardest to clear the toilet roll to get the game restarted but it looks like their was too much smoke in the hall for it too resume?

I didnt say anything about the match being suspended... actually I didnt even watch the whole video so I didnt know it was suspended.

I said that the combination of flares and paper is not a good thing and there is risk of fire, that's just one of the many things that are wrong with that picture. The wooden floor, also doesnt help, for example...

Actually I just remember that the main reason why flares were banned it was because of risk of injury...

forgot risk of fire was one of many reason why they are not allowed...

    Eh thread? MATCH ABANDONED!

So much of a risk of fire that they have the kids trying too clear what is the most probable cause of a fire for 4 or minutes? Toilet roll.

Come on seriously ffs its just fans who are seriously passionate which comes across strange to you and others but i find that kinda awesome with flares excluded.

Ok you are right its awesome

Bet you these lads were thinking the same too

I have seen things like that in person *for example Nacional Montevideo vs Penarol, and River vs Boca" its "awesome" at the beginning.. but after a way its actually scarey! gives you goosespoons and everything. Pretty awesome espectacle but is a bit risky

But the fact that is awesome doesnt mean its right...

Its ok to have fun but within certain parameters.

ok, I just realized you are probably just a kid. sorry didnt mean to drag you into this type of conversation.

Flares are awesome and harmless, they dont get hot and paper doesnt burn either. Now bedtime

    There some flares for you

Nice of you too bring the kiddie card into play (was wondering how long it would take )

You still haven't proved that the game was abandoned because of the flares (fire risk) or because there was too much smoke IN THE HALL. I'll bet my betvictor balance that it was because of smoke.

I am not saying this isnt cute or "awesome" actually all I* said is I thought it was a bit dangerous because of the combination of flares and paper in an enclosed area... that's fine... I seriously dojt know whats that kid going on about...

Flares indoor, toilet paper and a crowd = potential hazard to life. Common sense should prevail and it did, no need for flares. You can give support without them and save them for the outdoors where they can be appreciated. Crazy support but pretty class at the same time in other videos.

Borhrio did i not say i didn't agree with the flares indoors. Maybe on the ground of the smoke but from the video, its telling me the same thing when you see the kids clearing the toilet roll for 4 or so minutes without a care in the world of the fire risk aswel well i might add the "teachers" who are helping them. ABANDONED DUE TOO SMOKE!

Last comment on the subject. Goodnight belly has had enough drink for the night sweet dreams boardsies < (not sure:pac:)

You said you didnt agree because of the smoke not the risk of fire... of course kids dont see the problem, they are kids!

This conversation is over anyway... no point to argue

    Good night
