Anyone know where I can trade in a 3 year old laptop for cash

I know both HP and Samsung have trade in offers if you buy a new laptop of theirs but I was thinking of getting an Asus laptop so trying to get the most money possible for my Dell Studio 1735 laptop.

Would like to get €100 if possible or even better somewhere closer to the €175 that HP are offering.

I did find this place that offers 108 sterling but know nothing about them

Your best bet would be a pawn shop, dont know of anywhere else that would give cash or even a trade in.

150 Euro is a realistic price if you sell it online, no way you'll get this in a pawn shop.

Why are you tied to ASUS? Nothing wrong with them, but their components are just the same as anyone else's. If you're getting 175 from HP, I'm sure they have a similar specced laptop to offer.

not just tied to it and I may go for HP in the end just looking at my options

prefer just be able to get the cash myself if possible and then I can get whatever I want

can get €100 through this place and they are in Naas so its another option

think I will get €145 of HP and not €175 as my battery is dead so €45 in the difference if I see another branded laptop that is a better deal

    +1

If you're not entirely sold on Cash though OP, then Laser in Dundrum
    http://laser-computers.com/
would probably take the lappy off your hands and give you credit towards other IT hardware/software.
