Quick Alfa Romeo gearbox question?

    Would a gearbox from a 1600 Alfa 145 fit a 1400 146?
    If they do is the diff ratio different?

    Im no expert but its unlikely du to the cc of the car but the best people to phone are your local scrap dealer thye'll know straight away!

    Local scrapper is no expert either! He doesn't have enough of that stuff in to know.
    I'm sure someone here will know for sure. CCmight be bigger but its surely just on the bore or stroke not the actual physical engine size.

    1.4 1.6 and 1.8 all have the same ratios except for 5th



    1=3.909
    2=2.238
    3=1.520
    4=1.156
    5=0.971 (1.4TS = 0.919)
    R=3.909
