Hey im not from Dublin but ive been up shopping few times over the last year I would normally park in the red cow park and ride (clondalkin as signposted which led me to getting lost on the M50 northbound and paying 6 euro ) but last time I was in dublin in January we stayed in citywest and decided to go into the shopping centre wasnt that great to be honest but parking was free and I noticed the a Luas stop across the road just wondering is it safe to park in the shopping centre car park or is it possible to get clamped or anthing like that?? thanks :) wouldnt mind saving 6 euro on parking!

there are certain sections of the city west carpark reserved for park and ride as far as i know, and i think its free :) worth while giving them a ring before you travel up again
