    Hi folks,

I can't remember where I saw this stuff mentioned, whether it was here or not. I need to make a small dam to pipe some water to a tank, both for spraying and other small jobs. The mains water pressure is a joke here and doesn't go uphill worth a damn. However, there is water above me! I heard about some type of fabric that can be sandwiched between rocks and which won't let water through it, so creating a pool that I can stick a pipe into. Anyone know what I'm talking about? :D

    Many thanks,

    John

What you need is Terram geosynthetic cloth. You need to be careful what streams you go about putting a dam in though. I've used this stuff a good bit and it'll do the job for ya!

Thanks Bizz, calling it a stream is a bit much, my fault, it dries up most Summers and is a glorified drain if anything :)
