Hi all,

just booked some flights to Girona for April.

It will be our first time going this far North in Spain, so it will be all new to us.

At the minute haven't got a clue of which towns would be nice to travel to and stay in North of Girona or it's surrounding areas.

Could anyone recommend any nice spots to base a holiday around up there?

We're looking for quieter places, don't mind going inland or being away from busy spots as we'll be hiring a car to travel around in.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Areas in the South of France would be appreciated also!
