Amazon Linux Support Engineer Interview

Has anybody here any experience interviewing for Amazon? I have had a technical telephone interview with Amazon, and there will be another few telephone interviews before an onsite interview. Has anybody here gone through the interview process for Amazon for the role of Support Engineer? What can I expect at the onsite interview part? I know software developers have to write code on a whiteboard as part of the process, I am not sure what a support engineer needs to do at the onsite part. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi All,

I'm in a similar situation, just wondering about the interview process in Amazon in Cork. I've gone through the telephone stage and was asked to come in to do the onsite one and was told it would take a couple of hours. Can anybody share their experiences? What do the do for the couple of hours?

Well in most interviews you can say you can do this and do that and have done this and done that and get away with it.

In this case, you will be caught out without question.

If it's not something you know very very well, you don't know it. so don't claim to.
