Toshiba L755 sound distorted

Hi,bought this new Toshiba laptop recently and since I've had it when I'm either looking at video streams online or a movie on the laptop every 15/20 seconds the sound becomes distorted/crackling.Any Ideas how to resolve this would be appreciated.
