Tommy Walsh not in Swans 22.
    Setanta out injured.
GWS have 17 players making AFL debut.
    Could be interesting!

wont be interesting as a game, moreso as a spectacle to see GWS and some rookies etc. Swans will win at a canter, but at least the season is back on again.

Swans will defo win this, but I don't think by the margins the bookies are predicting. You can get GWS +99.5 at evens. I don't see the Swans beating them by much more than 70.

60 odd point win for the swans anyway. GWS had some nice passages of play, linked up well. lacking a forward and a target man to hit. And their midfield just arent quick enough, but to be expected they will have to get used to the pace of it all.

But it was a comfortable win for Sydney, they were really complacent and strolled to a lazy easy win. GWS seem to be getting praise for 'going toe to toe' with the swans, but I didnt see it that way at all. They have a few nice players, but it will be long time for them to be challenging, much like Gold coast.

Didn't see the game but along expected lines. First game of the season and the Swans are not big score getters, so no surprise the score wasn't as predicted by bookies. It looks like they are in for an even tougher season than Gold Coast debut. The likes of Hawthorn and Carlton could put up real big scores. Some of the top sides may rest a lot of players though.

Tipped a margin of 60 so a solid start to my tipping season.

    Lol at Folau btw :pac:

the commentators were hilarious. almost willing him to succeed when he was clearly out of his depth. He did feck all throughout the game, and then made one good tackle, and followed up the play by picking the ball up off the ground. the comms were creaming themselves over it and replayed it. He made a pretty basic tackle in AFL terms, and then picked up the ball on the run. The way they were going on you'd think he was going to get Brownlow votes for it. and the more the game went on, the more often he was just called 'Izzy'.
