New Sky HD box does not have RF out

Moved house recently and got new multi-room install today. The new smaller HD box for the second room has HDMI and scart but does not have RF.
Neither of these two connections will suit the TV.
Will Sky do anything to help?
Wondering if I can re-use one of my old boxes?
I was out of contract so the boxes are mine. I presume that the box would need to be paired if I wanted to record ?

It's too far to run a scart lead and it does not have HDMI. I would like to use one of my old boxes.

So you're saying you got a multiroom install but the box is too far from the tv for a scart connection? You must have very big rooms, why did the installer leave you with a box that can't be connected to the tv?

Rooms are not that big !
The Sky boxes are located together and the second TV is two floors lower and it is not possible to run a scart there !
I have coax and HDMI for when I change the TV.

Get a triax tri-link kit, it comes with a magic eye and allows control of boxes with no modulated output in other rooms.

why in gods name did they put both boxes together and not one with each tv, or was this by your request.

Just use your old box. Depending on you package you may or may not need to get the card paired. The card should work without pairing if you don't have sports or movies. If you do just ring sky & get the card paired.Don't forget to tune your TV to the rf channel of the sky box . the new sky box that you got for the second room doesn't record, so no issue there. (I presume)
    Hope that helps.

I have all my boxes, including NAS, ATV2 and amplifier at the one location in a press. I have Cat6 and coax run to each TV. The TV in question was in the house when I bought it. It's a 32" wall mounted and does not have HMDI. Hence the reason to connect through coax.

I would like to be able to record through the second box as well. I just have the basic package but I do not think RECORD will work unless paired ?

ah OK. I was kind of panicking as I'm getting multi room next week. And was thinking the sky installers were lazy and wouldn't put the box in another room.

You do realise that you'll only get mono audio and rather poor quality picture via the aerial input?
