Ryanair postcodes

Firstly- Im not a dummy- I've booked ryanair flights many times before.

I ahve just put in the last hour going in circles on their website without being able to book flights to Girona.

The problem happens after I put in the payment address and I suspect it is around the zip code part of the address. It asks for street address (no problem, Town (no problem) and Zip/ Post code which I dont have, being in Ireland. I have tried 0, 00, 000000, zzzzzz, County, none, etc etc etc and nothing will work.

What a crock it is- If booking the flight is this much hassle then it may not be worth it. Any suggestions on what the problem is?

No luck with that pauric, thanks anyway. I also tried a different credit card.

Its very irritating having decided to book flights.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Do you need to put in the county?
THe mandatory fields are 1st line of address, town/ city and zip/ post code.

Yea you do . The county is required as part of the billing address

I think you have to put County instead of Co. - so County Kerry instead of Co. Kerry if that's any help

Ryanair don't make it easy that's for sure! :pac:

Put something in for every line of your address. For example if your address is 1 New Street, Ballygobackwards, Limerick this won't fill all the address fields.
So instead you should fill your address in as follows:
    1 New Street
    Ballygobackwards
    Limerick
    Limerick
    0000 (for postcode)

I to, tore my hair out for an hour trying to get round this postcode issue when booking ryanair flight to Lanza.
Then went back to start (keeping original page open as flights have a habit of going up each time you log on to look at a particular flight) and clicked the drop down menu (top right of home page) and clicked "ireland English", as i was on UK.

Then put my full address as per my visa card statement and then EIRE in "postcode" box.... low and behold it bloody worked!!!!
How someone who is not computer minded can work out this booking quest, is beyond me...not to mention trying to get rid of their insurance addition scam!!! need a holiday now!!! hope this helps

what a nightmare this is, thanks to this thread I finally figured out how to give money to michael o leary, who would have thought that was gonna be so hard!

I used my housename, townland name & town in the street address fields and as it said above "County" instead of "Co." in the City field. EIRE as the post code and finally go it to work.

    Cheers again

Amazing that an Irish owner of an Irish airline , asks its clients for a postcode, which we've never had and doesn't offer any options either!!!! Maybe O'Learly will soon be selling courses on how to use his web site! glad i was able to help....until next time!

I can't seem to get this to work for me, I've been trying for nearly an hour like a tool!! Has anyone got the manual or any updates as the above won't work?

I use BT11AA as a postcode when the aforementioned don't work. Hope that works for you :)

I stick in "CoDublin", "CoDub" or a variant and don't have problems. When it's a payment form like this that is asking, it's your card provider that's doing the checking, not the airline.

The transaction goes through and if your address doesn't match the one on file it gets rejected. I can only presume they have some smarts built in for countries like Ireland that are still stuck in the last century without postcodes, or for handling forms from countries which handle addresses differently - like O'Connell Street, 17 vs 17 O'Connell Street.

On the screen grab on the previous page there is no asterix in the postcode field- surely you can just leave it blank? I've booked loads of Ryanair flights and can't remember having that problem....
