I got one of the radio waves? ( not infra red) release before I went on holidays but I cant get it to fire the shutter.
the two units - transmitter and receiver seem to talk to each other in that they flash in unison with the green and red lights. I have set collar on my nikon 7000 to remote operation but no joy.
    Am I missing something?
I emailed seller but he wasn't helpful.
    Please help.

Are you sure the item you have is compatible?

    I use one of these:-

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-4730-ML-L3-Remote-Control/dp/B00007EDZG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332441696&sr=8-1

and it works perfectly. (With the release mode switch at this setting:-)

Do you have to set a radio channel on it? If you do then the
channel must be the same as the camera channel, you will find
how to set it by menu>bracketing flash>commander mode /this
may be different on your camera so check the manual.

It says on the box it is compatible. I have put the collar as instructed on the picture( great image thanks). I didnt get the Nikon one as I needed one in a hurry to go on holidays and couldnt get one at short notice.

I didnt see anything on the manual about radio settings but will have another look.
thanks for posting. HOpe I dont have to fork out and get another one. :-)
