    ...that the people on the list of friends on the left hand side(which changes every time) could be the people that perhaps view your profile the most or most recently?

    N.B Does not apply to Timeline

    For me its usually a list of people who are online now and those I have spoken to or otherwise interacted with in the last 30-60 days.

    Question. How many times do you look at somebody's profile?

    I would guess the answer is rarely.

    I've got two Facebook profiles. One for myself and a dummy profile I use for playing games and keeping an eye on the privacy of my "real" profile. Sometimes I see my alter-ego showing up on other people's profile pages and I can say for definite I've not visited them
