This is a bit of a long shot but here goes; I'm looking for a clock type / make that I saw a few years ago whilst on holiday in Lanzarote. There were a few of them in a shop around Puerto Del Carmen. They were pendulum clocks and it was the workings of the pendulum mechanism that I particularly liked. Instead of the usual swinging over and back this pendulum swung in a 45 degree arc between two metal bars. the momentum of the swing would cause the pendulum to wrap itself around one metal bar, then unwrap and swing to the other bar where the process would repeat. I've asked friends who've been to Lanzarote to keep an eye out and done numerous searches to try to find the shop and clock make but no joy.

Hoping someone in this forum may have come across something similar, would love to get my hands on one.

    Cheers!!

I know the yoke you speak of, but have no idea where you would get one.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I remember seeing them over there alright. I had a dig on google maps and I think the shop that had them was Chevere

If you look at the pictures on this site you can briefly spot one of them (I think)

The video starts to get really good at around the 6minute 34second mark so stick with it!

I thought I had missed something the first way round, so had to watch it a second time.
There's nothing there at 6:34 people! I'd say bedlam is the original uploader of the video and wants more hits to his video! :D
