    My friend very recently, linked me to a 'generate your own pokemon website' which is, you choose a pokemon on this website, set its stats to as high as you like, moves, whatever moves you like, like blastoise with flamethrower or pikachu with vine whip, then get it transferred to your game via the GTS.

    I mean, it sounds great doesn't it. But I'm not talking about how it is, I mean.. does it not like, destroy the purpose. Build your own team, get them after the first gym or what have you, beat the rest of the game easily. How boring :mad: no challenge, no fun. One of the best things of the game is raising a weak pokemon up to a ****ing monster :D And it removes the whole point of the game really. No more raising, no more catching, no more moving round. Silly website.

    So yeah.. my ten pence ;)

    The point would be to make it possible to get 'mon you couldn't otherwise get - like in-shop or other non-WFC event pokemon. Or, for example, to make the star of a tourney winning team available as a gimic 'mon. Or, say you have a group who meet up for TCG or DS battles regularly, you could give create a unique impossible 'mon (unattainable moves, some perfect EVs etc) to give as a prize for a competition. Or hey - if you were Nuzlocking your way through a GBA rom that you legitimately owned, and had grown quite fond of one of your now dead teammates, you could export him to your official cart using this. (I disapprove of this! Extract him and delete him from the save file while he's still alive or you are playing god!) Not quite legit uses of the tech but certainly not intended to break the game.

    But all technology is open to abuse. If they could use this hack to change the images or the names of moves we'd all be playing some gorno-fest called Mortal Nudeymon.
