I'm wondering what might be the cause of my Tosh Sat L350d tuning off itself. This seems to happen when I'm working several apps simultaneously and I've noticed the underside does become hot. I usually have to wait for it to cool down before rebooting.

Anyone know what or why this might be happening and a likely cure?

    Thanks

Clean the air intakes. Make sure they not blocked.

Thanks for quick response, I'll check and clean air vents for sure.

You can dissmantle Your laptop, clean heatsink and put new thermal paste on processor.

Also clean the fan, blow out any dust/fluff w canned air (lock the fan with a plastic pin).

If that doesn't solve it, it's either the fan or the thermal paste needs to be renewed.

I'm a little nervous to open up back, might this be available as an over the counter service anywhere?

Might be available, but if You ask lads on adverts/boards they might do it much cheaper than the others.
