    Hi folks,

A few weeks ago was waiting nearly 1.5 weeks for receipt of a wedding invite from Ballymacoda Co Cork.

Sent wedding present card 7days ago (wednesday last week) and they still haven't received it and wedding on Friday.

Is this normal service from An Post for isolated areas of the country.

If you sent it Wednesday last week with the bank holiday it's really only been five days, I'd say that's standard especially if it's a remote part of the country.

Did you register it? Or ring the PO customer service? They might be able to give you a general answer of how long deliveries take to get to that area.

You should probably try to contact your local sorting office to register a complaint. An Post can't do anything about fixing it, if they don't know about it.
