Some more info here :- http://www.gaa.ie/clubzone/gaa-injury-scheme/

Phyiso bills are not covered unless you are referred by a doctor. The first €100 for all claims is excess.

the injury scheme is near impossible to claim from. got injured two years ago got a good punch in the eye playing football had to go to hospital twice xrays and doctors 3 times missed about 7/8 days of work. filled up form with all doctors report and county board referees report. they replied back saying to send doctors report and referees report that they never got it. even thou i swift posted after about 3 months i got a cheque for 70 euro. absolute waste of time i spent again having to get all the reports and resending them. not to mention all the work i missed. pure hassle especailly since i work in kildare play football in clare and the hospital was limerick.

    thats the problem
you did not follow the correct procedure

your club secretary should have notified the county board, who would have sent then sent notification of them claim to the insurance company , along with copy of the match report, even before you even submitted a receipt for anything
