    hi all,

i have been offered new iphone from a friend and its very cheap nd i suspect it is stolen, i dont want to buy it and then find out.

i have the imei code is there any way i can find out without getting the phone taken off me?

i know i should buy one in the shop nd all that but its a great price and the guy selling isnt usually a ropey guy.

    any advice?

    cheers in advance

If its too good to be true, it usually is......A lot of people are upgrading, then flogging the upgrade and not paying the bill. The carriers are then blacklisting the phones and you may not find out for weeks.
