    Hey everyone.

I have a very uninterested tutor teaching my Child Development module who offers no help. I was wondering if anyone can break down the child study for me. If you would be able to help me with the headings I think I can work from there.

Some headings I have already are..

    Introduction
    Aims
    Plan of Action
    Observations - P.I.L.E.S
    Conclusion

Is there anything I must include in my child study? Does anyone have anymore headings I can work off of. Do I need to add photographs of the child?

    Thank you for all help.

Have a look at pp 5 and 6 of the module descriptor, it may be helpful, though you should have a brief from your teacher. http://www.fetac.ie/doc/WelcomeServlet?DocId=0901df9e80002088

Eilis Flood's Book - Child Development (Gill & Macmillan) goes through this area very well. It would be worth purchasing or borrowing if you don't have it already.

Don't include photos of the child unless you know the parents very well. You will have issues of permission and confidentiality etc.

The FETAC Descriptor Brief is fine in terms of knowing what to do. Also look at the marking schemes.

I've just had a look at the CD accompanying the above book and to be honest, it is like having the author acting as your lecturer. There are Powerpoints of the different chapters, sample assessment briefs and a sample paper and sample answers. This is actually all you need not just to pass but to do very well in your module.
