That was a long hibernation. So one was in SNN, the other (?) in DUB?

Yep, EI have a habit of starting new aircraft on a Sunday. The A320 retrojet arrived on a Thursday and entered service on the Sunday.

Both A319's will operate the 2 early departures from BFS on Sunday. (AGP and FUE I think they are)

It would have more to do with the fact that the summer timetable becomes effective from Sunday.

another a319 ei-epr just departed snn heading for belfast and on to dub for some reason

EI-EPR arrived in Belfast at 21:20 under callsign EIN2049. It replaced EI-DEC which left for repo to Dublin under callsign EIN039 at 21:55 (following on from the BFS-LHR callsigns).

The 319s were reputedly in Shannon for galley adjustments.

EIN949 (Malaga-BFS, EI-EPR) is showing as diverted Dublin having not even made Irish landfall yet - its next scheduled flight, EIN046 to BCN is currently cancelled?

    Anyone know whats up?

It appears that there is a problem with EI-EPR as it diverted to Dublin and A320 EI-DVI is currently approaching Aldergrove from DUB.

Well after putting an aircraft back into action after a long period in storage it would have been probably wiser to operate it out of Dublin for a few days to iron out any initial technical problems. Dub is the where the Back-up aircraft are located.

I would of thought so too.

EI-EPR in the air at the moment (according to Mac80's radar site)so seems like they were unlucky with EPR on day 1.
