Not sure why the ad owner decided to put GT3 in the title, as its a Carrera 2 with a GT3 rear wing, and perhaps other Kit? has the front bumper also been replaced?

I'm not sure why they would go to the bother of that but then keep the regular Carrera wheels. It just seems like an unusually modified car.

Otherwise, the 80's want its phone back and the interior is not a colour I would be a fan of. Surprisingly low price, but then I know nothing about how much these should cost.

    Verdict: Clueless

Edit: After some faffing about on Carzone I noticed it seems to be a somewhat popular option to have the GT3 Kit on the car without wheel changes etc. While I think the front bumper is a massive improvement, I don't think the whale of a wing is anywhere near as good an idea.

Wasn't it just a Carrera S by 2006? Likewise I think the GT3 phrasing is trying o add something which just isn't there. Price wise, I'm unconvinced.

A friend of mine in Canada has a 997 Carrera 2S and he uses it as an everyday car. If you're in a position in your life where you can have a car like this then you're not going to find a better car for €40k in my opinion.
I've taken my friend's one out for a spin on a few occasions and lets just say it made an impression on me :D

I think I saw a young fella driving that in Dundrum SC carpark last weekend.

    This thread smells funny.

A mate of mine in the UK also has a 911 2S - He loves it - not particularly practical and v expensive if anything goes in it. I've been in it quite a few times and went in convoy with it to the Nurburgring - plenty fast, great road holding - the only thing I dont like is that if you want to use the phone system you have to take out your sim and put it in to the dash - too much hassle but I presume you can get a duplicate sim.

Like any performance car, history is key. If it's a UK import, which is likely, then that can blur the car's history. If it's an import, make sure you do a HPI check no matter what the seller tells you.

It looks good in the pictures, however, the rear wing or interior wouldn't be to my taste either.

The price does appear to be on the low side for a car with that mileage that's only 6 years old. There are 993s on Carzone looking for more than that.

What has that got to do with this thread 'smelling funny' ?

Not trying to start anything, just curious :)

Nothing suspicious about this request, just an opinion on a car as the title suggests. Why do some find it suspicious to join a motoring forum and ask an opinion on a motor as a first post? Please keep it relevant to the question and if you have nothing constructive to add please feel free to jog on!!
