Battery Help!

The battery for my Dell Studio 1558 has died and I can't turn the laptop on at all. I'm pretty sure the problem is the battery as the brick is working fine.

I've been trying to find a replacement but searches on the Dell website have yielded nothing and it's a killer to navigate, especially on a phone. I have no idea who to call because they seem to want nothing to do with me as I'm passed warranty. I don't want it fixed, I just want a new battery!

Anyone any idea where I could get one? I've seen a few online for decent money but I'd be pretty sure they're not legit Dell.

    Thanks for reading!

When it comes to batteries, I wouldn't buy anything that isn't approved of by the laptop manufacturer, Dell in your case.

Saving a few quid on a battery can easily turn out to be saving at the wrong end.

Cheapos may not have the advertised capcity and charge/discharge cycles, or worse...
