    does anyone know how to view an xsp file in excel?

    I've spent the day on google, strange that one MS application doesn't work with another..

    No, it isn't. Excel uses spreadsheets, XPS is a page description language. Just because programs come from the same company it doesn't mean that they use the same format, regardless of functionality. Think of XPS as Microsoft's version of PDF that never caught on.

    If you're using Windows 7, XPS Viewer can view them. If it's not installed, go to Control Panel --> Programs and Features --> Turn Windows features on or off --> tick the XPS Viewer entry.

    Download the XPS Essentials Pack here if you're using Vista or XP.

    No wonder it did catch on.. wasn't is supposed to compete with PDF...

    You can embed / link PDF's but not XPS... school boy error from MS
