Hey Lads, I've just been given a quote for replacing a clutch + coil pack + plugs on a 2003 307. The qoute was €750. Does this sound about right as I'd imagine there is a lot of labour involved in swapping out the clutch. Thanks

Seems a little bit high. Did you get a breakdown of the price or just the whole price?

I think it was around
120 for the clutch
100 for the coil
A couple of quid for the plugs
around 5/6 hours labour.

Quick calculation on that says the labour rate is €70 per hour plus VAT. Is this an independent or a dealer?

€70 is on the high side for an independent. Our rate is €50 which I reckon is about average.
