Where can i get this done? Would most garages do it? Looking in the Cork area or Limerick city area.

It's due an oil leak and my mechanic recommended that i get it done so he can find the leak.

I suggest you find a different mechanic rather than a place to wash the bonnet.

Its the most absurd thing i have ever heard.

If you must... take the car to any garage with a powerwasher, open bonnet, lay plastic over the engine bay so water wont destroy anything and let rip with the lance. You may need someone to hold the bonnet up for you. Oil comes off with washing up liquid, but if you are going to use it make sure you wash it well off, its not good for paint

Your mechanic needs his head examined.

If you must get busy with a brush and grease remover, rinse carefully with a hose, you don't want high pressure water anywhere near the engine.

I'm assuming here your wanted to clean under the engine to make finding the leak easier. There is no problem washing under the engine or washing an engine bay once it is done with some intelligence and common sense.

Just find a local wash place usually run by polish and ask if they can wash under the car. but make sure they do the bottom as well as the top, you don't want it spotless you just want to see clearly the line of oil coming from it
