kindle touch voltage charger question Help needed

    just got my kindle touch from america on amazon.com and am wondering whether it will be safe to use my laptop to charge it until i get a usb plug.the laptops charger is 90w ac adapter the input is ac 100-240 v(output19.5v) would it be safe to use to charge it and also would the average usb plug charger be safe to use or would i need to use a transformer?The plugs outpu is 5v 1000MA input is 100-240v and the kindle is 5.25v max 500mA(input)/Should i buy new usb plug or keep it?
