Emergency tax as savings

Could I do this? I'm currently being taxed around €40 a week on emergency tax, As far as I'm aware I can claim all this back. So would it be OK for me to just let it run and then go to claim it all back in about 4 or 5 months time for my holidays, As I'm useless at saving and this just seems a good way around it.

    Thanks.

Not a good idea, you're better off getting it sorted as soon as possible. Think it only stays at a lower rate for so long before it goes to 40% of your wages.
