Can anyone give me a rough price for plastering per meter, the cottage is plastered but needs a new smooth coat before painting.
    Thanks

It's exterior so outside, I don't know what its plastered with but it is plastered. its old and I'd like it redone before I paint it this year so it looks smoother. there is a patch at the back of the house that isn't sound, that would have to be looked at because I don't know enough about it.

its possible that whatever its plastered in would need to be meshed over to allow the keying of the new coat, this will need a scratch coat and then a finish coat on top of that,i take it you are talking about a new sand and cement sponged up finish, pictures would be handy to give you an idea of how much it would cost,if it is an old lime plaster cottage you may want to keep it that way so cost would increase with this sort of work.
if you are anywhere around the south east i would be happy to take a look at the job for you.

I'm currently finalising my BOQ with the Builder and his QS and they have quoted €19 per m2 to remove existing pebbledash and €35 per m2 for a colour render.
