In house storage

I want to store my bike inside the house but don't have much space. I saw this on a few sites and it looks pretty cool but a tad expensive.

Has anyone got one or can recommend a good alternative, I will more than likely be mounting it in the hall but I'm not very keen on putting a standard L shaped bracket on the wall, want it to stand like the above.

Here's one from Argos for 12.99

Personally I use two 6" hooks similar to these ones just inside my door.
With a 6" hook you have to remove the front wheel and turn the bars a bit to the side, and you will mark the wall over time.

The cycloc one does look nice, but I've yet to convince the OH that any of my bikes are works of art that deserve pride of place over the fireplace.

I use these.... do the job, no marks on the bikes.... easy to put the bike in and out of.

I had a look at a few of them alright but I'm restricted by where I can put it.

I was planning to put my bike where the mirror is, hence no hoist etc

If you've a nice looking bike and can afford it, then the cycloc would look great where the mirror is. I've seen them in use and they do look very funky. (I think it was in Designist in Dublin)

I'm looking for storage too but it's not for such a notieable place so it's hard to justify the expense.
