They should send Stephen Ireland to that island off the coast of Surinam, you know the one where the two tribes have been knocking the **** out of each other since 1907. I think he can unite them in the spirit of....er...football. If not he can just tell him his granny died so he can come home

The manager obviously knows nothing if he prefers Ireland over Ballack.

plus Ballack provides a guarantee in his contracts that he will play regardless of tot Oma's.

If Soler made promises to Ireland in October, then that is before Ballack even announced his intention to leave Bayer. What the f**k is his agent so upset about? Ireland got the deal first.

Plus, Ballack is 35. He's not worth the money.

Didn't know Stephen Ireland was only 25 either! Thought he was around 29 years old.

Cant see this happening, not his biggest fan but he seems to be getting some of his old form back this season and im sure Villa would be trying their best to hold on to him,but then again its Stephen Ireland so expect the unexpected with him
