Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help me. I am buying a mobile home to put in my back garden and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to set up the electricity and sewage systems.

    Thanks.

this requires planning permission and the conditions you need to do this will be determined by the planning process.

Thanks syd. Didnt think i needed planning permission for a mobile coz its not a building with foundations. I'll look into the planning anyway. Thanks again.

foundations have nothing to do with requiring planning or not ;)

to be honest, its not easy getting permission for something like this, as you are basically putting a new housing unit on site of an existing.

will you be connecting to an existing sewerage system or a new system?

I was thinking of buying a mobile home for extra guest accomodation for when my relatives visited.

I phoned up the local council and asked about planning permission.

It turned out the only way I could have a mobile home was for 9 months while I was renovating a house and living in it while doing the renovations or new build.

You could try, but I feel they will say no. I had to abandon my plans.
