FUSION provides you with the opportunity to work with some of the most progressive and innovative SMEs across the island covering a range of sectors including IT, Science, Engineering, Energy and Pharmaceuticals. Employed directly by the company as a FUSION project leader within a company, you will have an attractive salary package and the opportunity to gain a fully-funded Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College Dublin. Full Information on the programme and its benefits and opportunities can be found on www.footinthedoor.info - more vacancies coming soon (likely mid-April)
Each Fusion Company sets their own salary range so this would vary depending on the nature of the job and expertise required.
The FUSION programme is designed to benefit both the company, the project leader and the academic institute in that the company develop their business through an innovative project, the project leader leads and manages the project for 12 months which will help fast track their career and the academic institute provides expertise in this sector and also brings the industry learning back to the university.
With regard to recruitment and preparing for interview full details are found on www.footinthedoor.info – how to apply.
    I hope this information helps.

check out FUSION's facebook page for testimonials from past graduates:
facebook.com/fusiongraduateprogramme. Ben Willis has detailed how he applied, his time on the programme and what the outcomes for him were.

Also their footinthedoor website has short dvd's from past & current graduates detailing their experience on the programme.

I would suggest you 'like' the facebook page for up to date info and also register your interest on the footinthedoor website, this will alert you to upcoming jobs in your sector.

    Hope this helps.

Hi I know this is a few years old but I'm wondering if anyone can help.. I'm after getting offered a job as a Research & Development Technologist as part of the Fusion Intertrade Ireland Graduate Programme..It is a 12month contract in which i get the chance to take up further studies in a Higher Diploma in Business and Management at Queens University Belfast. Does anyone know if this will be PhD-like? The company I will be working for has projects ongoing with various universities. I am extremely anxious about this and would appreciate any tips/help/advice anyone may have.
    Thanks in advance :)
