    Hey guys.

New to this. Have read up a bit on how to record, and was going to go with the focusrite saffire for home recording (http://www.thomann.de/ie/focusrite_saffire_6_usb.htm) but have been advised to go for a usb mixing desk instead, the idea being that it'd be useful to have a mixing desk handy for bands etc, and good to learn to use it. Also better to have more inputs if I want to record the band at some stage.

So I'm on the verge of buying the Bvehringer Xenyx X1832 USB, it's lying in wait in my thomann shopping basket. :) (http://www.thomann.de/ie/behringer_xenyx_x1832_usb.htm).

Just wanted to check it with you boardsies first. :)
