So i bought the a new MacBook to replace my HP laptop that is literally in bits...delighted with the purchase.

I transferred all my music via USB key from my HP to the MacBook and then imported the music into iTunes.

Now i want to start syncing my iPhone with my MacBook but iTunes is warning me if i do this it will wipe all music and playlists off my iPhone. Music is fine as i have it all transferred onto my MacBook anyway but i want to keep my Top Rated Music playlist.

How do i transfer Top Rated Music playlist from either my iPhone or HP to my Macbook?

Do you happen to still have everything on your HB laptop?

    If so....

exporting playlist - in iTunes select playlist > File menu > Library > export playlist > save as xml on USB stick or external hard rive

importing playlist- in iTunes > File menu > Library > Import playlist > and select the exported file.

Hope thats of help to you
