dishwasher not draining

hi ive goy a 10yr old hotpoint aquarious thats not draining I took off the side panel but couldnt access drain pump can someone help me check the basics thanks

First thing to check is whether the drain pipe has not become kinked, chances are the drain pump is in the base with the circulation pump.

Could easily be clogged.

I had to lay the machine on its side and open the bottom to gain access.

I found out you can turn the pump from inside machine
