Lads, a quickie for ye. What pressure should I have in my MTB tyres if I'm riding on the road? And if I'm on a beginners forest trail? And a more advanced forest trail?

    Thanks in advance.

My bike is a Lappierre R500 with XL 55.5cm frame btw.

If you look at the tyre wall you'll get a max psi level which is about 60psi . IF your bike has Michilen tyres it could be as a bar rating. Off road I'd normally run mine at about 50 psi but on the road at the max to decrease drag as you pedal but if your tyres are a soft compound the road will trash them pretty quickly .

50 psi on-road or just buy slicks...

50psi on the road and (assuming you're not running tubeless) between 35-40psi offroad. If tubeless about 30psi, depending on your weight!

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll go with 50psi on the road.
