Hi guys, hope you can give me some insight into a problem I have. My international has developed a drop oil leak coming out from where the bottom shaft is for the fan belt.this shaft would be about on the same level as the upper part of the sump. Would it be a seal and if so is it a tricky spot to get at.i can get my hand in handy but working tools and pulling bits might be a different story. Thanks in advance.

sounds like the front crankshaft seal. Not being smart or anything but if you didn't know that straight off take it to a mechanic as it would need someone familiar with engine work. It can be done in frame in a lot of tractors but engine may have to come out, I have never done an international one so maybe some other posters could assist?

Bonnet rad etc etc need t come off, i cant remember about the actual seal but like most crank seals it can be tricky enough

Count yourself lucky its just a seal, the engines f***ed in my 474 1800 euro spent so far on a rebuild....
