Hi I am new to boards.ie and was wondering if I can get some feedback from anyone that has had a surgical procedure called lateral release of the knee?

I am at the end of trying every single avenue to avoid this procedure but seems like it could be my last option so I was wondering how long recovery was before returning to full activity and have people goy any long term effects of the procedure?
