I say the amount of OAP's taking their money out of the bank and keeping it at home is really rising, I have heard stories of OAP's getting caught with loads of money.

My next door OAP keeps telling me she fears one day walking into the post office to cash her pension and there won't be any money for her.

    What ye say?

One thing I loved was the coverage of the run on Northern Bank a few years ago, 90% of the queue were pensioners and everyone they showed had 10s of thousands in the bank.

The thing I liked about "the run" on that bank was they all queued in a very orderly fashion, very British.

There was a pensioner up the road who had his life savings in a plastic bag in the shed. He heard noise out the back garden and went to investigate. The light was on in the shed so he took a big knife from the kitchen.

He pushed open the door and went to the plastic bag which was behind a old sheet of plywood. He pulled back the plywood and the bag was sitting there rustling gently as if there were something inside it.

He used the tip of the knife to pull the bag towards him and inside the bag there was...
    a peadophile
