Has anyone else had problems with channel 4's 4OD service in the last couple of months? Everytime i click on the play button on any video absolutely nothing happens it doesn't even attempt to buffer :( Anybody experienced this or know how I might fix it?

Same happens for me. Not sure of the reason why to be honest but you can get all of 4od's content on youtube.

Unable to access C4OD, when I click on a programme, after a few seconds, a message appears 'an error has occured in the playing of this programme'. I used to be able to access it, I can access it on some terminals at work, and when I brought my laptop in to 'Right Click' for an unrelated problem, I could access C4OD in the shop, no problem.
My colleagues are puzzled, they all access it at home, my internet provider couldn't offer any solutions. The lads in Right Click suggested asking Eircom to change the MTU setting, but the guy on the help desk provider didn't know what this meant (they are usually on the ball). C4OD has changed the face of modern television, and its addictive. Help!.

Have a look at this thread and read post 18. Hopefully it should work for you, it did for me :)

Oh my god, thank you for linking that post! I've been unable to use 4od for about a year, tried everything, even contacted 4od but couldnt find any way to get it working again.

I had given up hope of ever seeing it again!

For anyone wondering, the 'fix' is basically switching your DNS (the thing that translates URLs into IPs) from the default to OpenDNS, which are very secure and reputable. Their customer list is basically every major business and university in the US!
