I am just finishing up my EDT and am starting to really think about my test I plan on doing it in Nass as it is nearest to me .

Has anyone got any advice for me about this particular test center ? Is there anywhere especially difficult I should be looking out for and what is the best route to practice ? As for testing in general is there anything else I should be considering ? I do plan on having a pre-test a few days before and making sure the car is very clean.

I am not personally familiar with the Naas test route. But one piece of advive I would give you is, get the pretest lesson a couple of weeks before the test. This gives you time to fix any bad habits that have developed and to get familiar with the test area under the guidance of a local expert ADI.

Would you advise booking in as soon as the edt iscompleted or giving it some time ? I have been getting conflicting advice about this. Some people think I will develop bad habits if I leave it too long and others think I should be getting a lot of independant pratice before hand.

It depends how good at driving you are. If you have been getting plenty of practice in with your EDT, are driving well, are going to make the effort to get much more driving done over the few weeks before your test and your six months holding your learner permit have passed, apply now. If you think you need more practice, take your time to do this. Don't leave it to long. Set a deadline to apply before.

If you manage to get parking outside the centre, reverse into the space like the cars in the photo. When you return to the centre, drive straight into the spot. The area is normally very busy so sometimes the only parking is further down where green car is parked. The centre itself is upstairs above the driving school, the door is the far left one behind the blue car.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
