Road bike(300 or less)

hey.
wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a nice road bike?

im not planning on competing with it atall, hence i don't want to spend too much.

its only for use cycling during the summer.



so i said i'd ask around and see have any of you seen any nice deals i can avail of.
i am 5ft 10", if that's any help to any of you.

help appreciated.

guess i'll update the situation.

been looking around pretty regularly, and theres giant Defy 4 going for around 400 on donedeal.

my friend has a claude butler, and his is pretty nice on the road.

i've upped my budget to 450, and am just looking for peoples opinions.

i know im on he lower end of the scale when it comes to prices, but surely someone else has been in my situation?
