I dont know much about birds of prey; this may even be a gull but I spotted it in Ballycotton this afternoon. It brought up some of its food so I'm leaning towards it not being a gull?

It certainly flew like a bird of prey. It had a yellow bill, yellow feet I think but I couldn't tell if they were webbed.

Heres some pics - anyone know what this is?

What its bringing up is a pellet, consisting for the feathers, bines & other indigestible bits of its diet.

Hello again LC, a Peregrine pellet, or indeed any falcon or hawk pellet won't contain bones because they can digest them. Owl pellets, on the other hand, will contain bones, skulls, etc. 'cause they have a weaker digestive system. Dave
