Just planning a few routes using Garmin connect. Is there any way for me to see the total elevation gain for the routes I've mapped out?

I'd like to see if I've got many hills to work on during my cycle. I can see the elevation graph below the route but it doesn't tell me how many meters i'll have climbed on the route.

Map it with ridewithgps instead, that gives you elevation gain.

Or Routeconvertor. You can save the routes and input them to garmin connect. A couple of different maps too which are useful.
